The new identification plates were sent to me late, so they didn't make it into the video. But you can always watch the last post in my KZbin community, I posted a photo of a drilling machine with the plates installed.

У меня почти такой же достался. Стопорный механизм совмещён, тоже готовлюсь к восстановлению. Станины тоже нет., хранился у кого то в гараже и был прикручен прямо к верстаку. Варварство... Придется делать самопальную.

Phenomenal job. Small potatoes, but I think I would have done some of the finishing aspects a bit different. For example, the chuck and the lever by the new on/off switch (don't remember the name or function of that) both look a little grey and dingy compared to the nice, new, glossy hammer finish. I'm wondering if a better cleaning and/or nickel plating would have done wonders there. Also, your motor assembly didn't match that hammer finish, either, the black parts especially. Perhaps you had good reason to leave the motor finish smooth and non-matching (color-wise), but it's not apparent. Finally, you don't seem to have (re)built the pulley housing, leaving the belts exposed (to dirt; also something of a safety hazard IMHO). Oh, you didn't go for one of the fancy newfangled variable speed electronic control units, but just a simple on/off switch (and retained the belts of course for speed control). I'm wondering if you kept this for your own shop or if you found a customer. But all in all so very satisfying to rescue this fine machine and bring it back to a new, useful life.

Not much point in degreasing if you then hold the part in your bare hands, just putting greasy fingerprints onto it. But apart from that 👍

к сожалению не могу подсказать... тубе со смазкой уже много лет, и название уже стерлось. Помню лишь что она какая то импортная и вроде высокотемпературная.
