For every house increasing at 10% p.a. or more then 6%p.a. which most houses do new tax rate of 12.5% without indexation is more beneficial. A house of 1 cr in 2001 would most likely be of 40cr than 4 cr. Bogus example.

Tax on farmers- 1. Are you farmers, if you are you know downside of it and upside of it 2. If you are working as white collar job, you don’t know how challenging it is to be in farming or agriculture 3. Justify why you want that to be taxed. 4. If someone is doing something illegal in your circle, take legal action. 5. To be a farmer it is very high risk and lot of investment is needed to begin with, regular hard work is needed, as you have to take care like your own children. Don’t be jealous, be respectful to their profession not easy task like us as white collar profession.

LTCG should not exist. STT was introduced with the promise of removing LTCG. Now they reintroduced LTCG but did not take away STT. so you now pay twice the tax. Remove LTCG altogether or take STT away...
