Oui. These talks are amazing. I also like sending them forward to friends and family. It's surprising how many people resist turning vegan .. like it's torture. They'd rather continue doing the hospital rounds, taking the meat and tabs..

I watch it to keep reaffirming why I’m WFPB. Making sure that there is no future chance of backsliding

Yup! Can't get enough. One of these years I'll actually practice what they preach as far as WFPB predominant.

I need HELP for my husband. My husband was never a big person he does a cardio workout on a regular basis. My husband had a triple bypass. He lost all fat and looks like a skeleton. The doctors put him on plant based diet but he can't gain weight working out and eat plants. What can we do, how to get him to get some fat on the bones healthy.?

Please have him consider joining our online platform membership.pbnsg.org as we have a heart disease support group that meets once a month. It is only $10/month and can be cancelled at anytime!

Is he talking about fat as in avocado, nuts, etc? Bc I put PB in my smoothies....
@baylieminter2664 жыл бұрын
And PB in my overnight oats?!?!
@PBNSG4 жыл бұрын
Whole food fats are a different story, added oils and processed fats are the issue.
@PBNSG4 жыл бұрын
Also make sure that PB does not have added salt, oil, and sugar.

Plant Based Nutrition Support Group okay perfect. I was so confused. So avocado is good on salads etc? Those are usually my main fat sources.

Keto is effective for weight loss by burning fat stores but such a high fat low fibre diet is bad for your health long term. Read the starch solution by Dr McDougall
@sharit79702 жыл бұрын
Many don't; for many their lipids go up and they feel like crap. Can be dangerous. Yes, some have apparent success with weight loss and glucose dropping; but it comes at a long term cost. See this 'live' with Eric Berg; start at 29:40 A keto follower talks about his bad blood work and CAC score. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKuaapl5oMmCZrM

I have had my pancrea taken out 8 years ago, so my pancreas might not be able to tell my lier to break down the sugars/glycogen?
@phoebegraveyard72254 жыл бұрын
He lost me at the fat and sugar combo. I eat whole wheat berries with ground flax, hemp seeds and walnuts for breakfast almost every morning along with a berry chia almond milk smoothie. I am losing weight on this fat sugar combination. I eat roughly 45-55 grams of fibre daily. If I skip any meal it’s supper. His theory is just yet another set of rules to follow that cause restrictions which will lead to weight loss. When doctors create arbitrary rules, it causes patients to fail. Eat and enjoy actual real plant food regardless of what category it may fall into. If it has an ingredient label, leave it at the store. You will be healthier.
