I love that car. It was my first vehicle in high school. I’m not sure putting $10,000 in a 40-year-old car is a good deal but the video was great thank you. No major issue I ever had was the timing belt

I had one in the early 90' that was 6 years old with 35000 miles on it...Very underrated cars...The build quality was excellent, not fast but fun to drive with great styling....Kept it for many years, when I moved on it had over 300000 miles on her...I feel the s12 deserves more respect...My second favorite Nissan/Datsun I have owned, number one was my 1972 Datsun 1200 or B110 ( I owned 2) I would still own it today however rust took it's toll.

There's a reason why no one really goes for S12s. There are very limited aftermarket support products for this car. You will end up having to custom modify everything and sourcing OEM parts will be like finding a needle in a haystack.

I've owned 3 S12 since 2014. I live in the Indianapolis area and have only seen like 3-4 on the road, ever. I rescue as many of these cars as I can afford and have space for. '84 solid axle CA20, '85 CA18ET turbo hatch fully loaded, '88 notchback CA20

Love it and it's wonderful to see Ben's passion for his S12. I used to have one of these back in the mid/late 90s as my daily driver for a few years, a black 1.8 turbo. I'm in the UK so they were badged as Nissan Silvias here. It's yet another car from my younger days I wish I still had ....

Makes me nostalgic. My first car 1986 Nissan 200 sx xe same color but my interior was grey, had a moon roof, and had the digital speedometer and tachometer.
