17th Jan 1990 - Ph1 Peugeot 405 Mi16
Known as 'The Mighty Mi'
Owned by Darren Langeveld, paid £600 for it in 2005, from Neville Wood near Horsham, who bought it new.
It was then built to go to, round and back from the Nürburgring and other UK/European tracks from 2006 thru' 2017.
The car has done @1200 laps of the 'Ring alone. Mostly with three passengers on board.
Came off the road in 2018 for a well earned 'just take the motor out and paint the engine bay'
Yes, there was then some scope creep - what of it?
Yes, there was also some budget creep - what of it?
No, it's not concours and is not meant to be concours.
Yes, it has been driven since it was finished and like all Darren's cars will no doubt be off on another Euro trip as soon as possible.
No logic in this endeavour. Darren likes the car - it was a big part of starting a successful business that helped ultimately changed his life.
What's next? Maybe some Tolman Engineering engine/management stuff, depending on the state of the kitty.

Any sane person would have scrapped it long ago.
Long Live the Mighty Mi 🤘
