I Got this to reuse for home AC as new R410a units have been back ordered 7 months due to Plandemic and no idea of when restocking.

This unit was manufactured in 1965 according to the "RO" in the serial number. Tecumseh B compressor, back when those were common

These old AC units are so unique. Nowadays everything is all cookie-cutter.

glad to see people keeping these old things going. I have never been a big fan of central air. I have always liked vintage window/wall units. I can guarantee you that this unit will last longer than a new unit ever will, even now that it is over 60 years old. it looks to be in really good condition as well. If I had something like this, I may not dislike central air co much.

@@mjwdrones4all41 I'd keep this old beast around as a shop or garage unit, at least around here with energy prices a unit that old would probably get replaced pretty quick with a subsidized unit, power company has been constantly cold calling my grandpa about replacing her 1992 Comfortmaker, still runs fine just makes some noise on startup, she's not replacing it until it's fully dead because she had a bad experience with a Nortek unit at a previous house and that's what they want to install

@@mjwdrones4all41 Where I am it's over a dollar and still rising, that unit would be good for a garage or shed I'd keep it around because you probably won't find many more like it

That unit is made by Borg Warner in the late 50's or early 60's. The compressor is a Tecumseh B series 4 pole twin cylinder reciprocating compressor. Very cool find
