Restoring some wheels this afternoon, the tip about the break shoes really made things simple. Opted for cloud silver rims, with matt finish, then cloud silver hubs with a gloss finish which really makes things pop.

If I could save every single part and spend the time bringing them back better to new... I would. but it doesn't work like that. This is a single video out of a series, watch the rest and let me know your thoughts. We all have different ideas of what a restoration is.

Ill have you know the hubs, axles and bolts were original ! I take your point, sometimes not everything is salvageable. This video falls as part of a bigger bike series!
