I had a 1972 gs 350 4 speed . WATCHING THIS IS BRINGS BACK THE OID DAYS. I Rolled it in 1978. One of the worst days of my life. My mother has pictures of it.

Dont put your cheater on your rachete. Gets expensive. You'll burn up the new grinder in one hour with big wire brush on. That trick dont work. POR 15 on the rust would have been the way most guys go. But not cheap. You can by duckting soundning cheap. Id definitely sound dead floor. That will seal the rust. Then get a body pannel bond to slap over rust from below. You better to by a cheap plug in electric drill with small cup bits. Save the battery drills. Varied amount of cup bits will get in the small places. Nutralise the rust. Its cheap. You can hack lemon juice also. Top half Patena looks good. Is there a ground wire in the fabric for belt.
