Watch as we restore a cherished 51-year-old wedding band, bringing it back to life with a unique stepped look and preserving its original patina. This beloved ring, worn thin over decades of marriage, is now fitted over a white gold sleeve to ensure durability and continued wear. The scratches that tell the story of over five decades are carefully retained, keeping the memories intact.

Aww, this made me cry. My hubby quite wearing his band many years ago due to his job. On our 18th, we both upgraded to diamonds. His ring has 1 1/2 ct in it and is still a classic design this fall on our 50th. BTW - if you were around, I would have had you restyle my old diamond and make it new. As is, he gave me a new set with my old solitaire diamond and 1 on each side of it.

I love this! My husband got a ring for me for our 35th wedding anniversary. I lost 130 pounds so naturally it was too big. However, my original wedding band, that now fits me fits snugly and perfectly in the middle of the new ring. We had the OG band soldered inside the new ring and I love it! It’s a very unique looking ring of rose gold over yellow gold and has an amazing meaning!!

I was 14 and he 17 he asked me what school I was going and I told him H.S. of Fashion and the next day he was standing at the train exit to asked me out, I told him NO because I was only 14 so he asked me if he can wait for me and I told him to grab a chair. He waited until I was 20 to get married. We moved to Florida We have 3 kids 39, 38 and the surprise baby 29. "Just give what you expect back." Wish you the best.

The stepped look is very similar to my own kind-of engagement ring! My fiance got it for me when we were in college together about eight years ago, and its just a simple band in some unknown material. Our school was doing ring engravings with whatever you wanted for free on these cheap little things, so he had "perfect" engraved into one and gave it to me. Its so simple but means the world to me. its heartbreaking i cant wear it at my job. Beautiful work as always!

I'm so glad you didn't buff out the scratches, i love to see the dents, scratches and blemishes on everything, even on myself (scars), because each one has a story ❤

I love that you love the scratches in I'm sure many people wouldn't complain if they saw it shiny and I would just be happy that it was fixed but the fact that you left all of its character was beautiful
