Put some huge bolders completely around the pump so that when you garden around it it will be visible in summer and winter. Harder to hit when it can be seen, and big enough rocks will stop any vehicle from sliding over the pump and breaking it in the winter.
@hollyjobitner32856 ай бұрын
Maybe a small light with the big rocks to prevent hitting the well head by the big trucks. 💙

Didn’t he get rid of tons of boulders earlier this season? Maybe sink at least eight 6-inch wide pipes, 3 feet underground and 4 feet exposed above ground, in a circular pattern (about 6 feet away from the pump, for a 12 foot wide circle) filled with concrete, and painted yellow.

The boulders and a flower garden would make a lovely feature, being decorative and functional.

As a health care worker with 17 years experience in the dialysis field, my heart goes out to you and your family. Having kidney failure is devastating to deal with and while I'm thankful that the technology for renal replacement therapy is available, I've seen the misery it brings. Your grandpa has made a decision for himself and I respect him for that. Dialysis is life-saving, however if the quality of that life is very low, what's the point in continuing? Hugs to you all from San Diego.

6:57 interesting that you recognize you’re more wired for active work. The house process seems to reflect that. You’ve wanted to actively work on it, and haven’t seemed to spend enough time sitting, thinking and planning first. And there’s nothing wrong with being an active worker in and of itself, but lack of time planning can lead to extra work and cost (like not planning for window placement before re-siding the house and doing the basement footers after redoing the upper floors.
