We bought Scat seats for 72 super and they fit in their just fine. And that was on factory pans and chassis. The only thing I had to replace was the battery box. Now I'm fixing to put a 2332 in it. Good luck.

My father has a 71. So I get to compare mine to his all the time. It looks like the older pans with the newer channels is a tighter fit but everything is working so far. I will keep making videos everytime I work on it so stay tuned !

Should have put the body back on to check before welding. I did my pass side with body on . Had to cut about a inch off the back and 1/4" to 1/3 ' off inside tunnel .Have 1973 Super Beetle

My two Front heater channel Holes were in the wrong place. And when you buy them they should have a note on the parts. They are all wrong on the cheaper channels.

These were the thickest ones available. They weren’t the cheaper channels. Or pans. Once we got the pans in correctly everything lined up great. But now I’m into the firewall and it’s not fun lol 😂

Yes I have the thicker ones on a 64 Beetle. I do not explain myself well when typing. What I mean by cheaper is the ones that are not green. I can not think of the brand off hand but they are supposed to be the best.@@mikedeschamps

@@garypannone7755 I’ve seen the green ones but have not seen them on cip1.ca these were the best available through them and the parts are just so easy for us with cip1 here in Canada. But yes I have seen the green ones on different videos. Oh well. These are much stronger than what was on the car so I’m happier forsure lol

My 73 the front holes on heat channel were way off. Had to flatten outer lip and make new holes.

I was way off the first time, got it pretty darn close now but ya there's not much meat left on that tunnel lip. lol make it work! lol

the tunnel of a 1303 are not the same than a 1200, that's why you need to make accurate measurement and that's why we use millimeters instead of inch... Sorry.

Wrong floor for the 74

We switched out the pans to change the seats. We were told from CIP1 there was no difference. I learned the hard way. Made it work though
