so many of these car repair channels are just people buying parts to replace broken parts. It is refreshing to see someone actually do the repair, even if it takes twice as long it is so much more satisfying to watch.
@carlchristianfosse98393 ай бұрын
You must not have paid attention 😅 they had to repair it because you can't buy a new one, neither the bumper or the fenders, discontinued. If he could he would 😅 still hella impressive to be able to repair a fender with that much damage 😮

I got the phone in my SC400 to work by using a smartphone to housephone adaptor (made so old people could forward their smartphone calls to their old house phones that they are used to) and a battery pack for power. You cant buy the original phone service anymore but even if its a little jank I was able to make calls off the car phone.

As a perfectionist watching these 3 videos so far has been super satisfying, I have a 2000 LS400 myself in amazing shape and I plan on keeping it forever. A little tip I’d say for the wheel is try to sand it down smooth and you can actually use fabric/vinyl spray paint dye to get it the correct color. Did that method on my friends LS and it’s been about a year now and still looks great.

those old car phones don't work anymore because the 2g service thats needed has been discountined since the mid 2010's depending on how its wired in the car you could use a converterbox that takes in a regular cellphone and lets you bassically make and recieve calls from the landline/carphone and out bound them from your cellphone

I'm loving this series, my LS400 (which I had for the best part of 20 years) was almost the same as your new parts car (obviously the steering wheel is on the other side). I got rid of mine as one of the front suspension springs went and it wasn't going to be emissions compliant for the London ULEZ which was due in a few years. In the UK I don't think we got the first aid kit in the under seat box. Lots of memories and part of me wishes I'd kept the car and got it restored.
