Good old Milliput to the rescue, best tip you ever gave me. Great head match, looks perfect to me, you would never know it had been broken by the end, great restoration. She makes a stunning angel. I think we should bottle Kate and Fleur's enthusiasm and excitement and spread it around the world to make it a lovelier place to live in. Bless you both, loving Mudmas.

That was a good restoration of poor Charlotte. Looking at all those broken dolls I was reminded of the ancient Greek or Roman ruins that the Victorians loved to tour or an exhibit at a museum. This is probably because I drew so many plaster casts my first year of art school!

My mother grew up in a family of thirteen in the 1930’s and there was very little money, she mentioned having a tiny little doll that would fit in a matchbox and I wonder if it was one of those?
