It's one of my pet peeves about the terms we use for the hobby. When you modify the appearance of the car and give it wheels or paint scheme not offered by the manufacturer it's a custom now and not a restoration. I'm willing to forgive you because you combined things offered by Mattel in that era, and it LOOKS FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!! You make things look "factory", or that Mattel should've made. So, I sentence you to a lifetime of creating diecasts and videos whenever you desire, wealth, love of a beautiful woman and Happiness!

I agree and have been an advocate of creating a glossary of terms. I think a Restoration is done to look as close to 100% original as possible, a Custom, all bets are off, and then I think there should be a category called resto-mod, like this build. A restoration with some upgrades but still has a sort of original look to it. I think I can live with a life sentence like this one!

Dear Super Bad Videos. I think in '69 or '70, the Hot Wheels Club Membership was created. For joining you received one of 3 cars which were polished chrome and painted flat black stripes and number stickers, and my Dad had 3 sons so that was perfect: The King 'Cuda, The Boss Hoss, and the Heavy Chevy. The black stripes faded away with play.

Just a killer restore love thst casting and the color was amazing Paul, I would like tp voice my opinion on the Camera, the angles aregreat , but for me to far away,not zoomed in enough on this video . see the work your doing , its too far away. just my two cents.but that was a beautiful restore.

Im considering a spray booth. I noticed yours does not vent to the outside through a window like others. Does it keep the fumes down indoors? I have a room in my basement I may set up my new hobby shop in and there is a window there but if this booth will keep the smell of paint out the house I may go with it.
