Hello. you should replace impeller first !!! you are then sure that the engine is cooled well. if the boat stood for a few years, the rubber could break. Impeller is cheap, and very important :) it's worth changing every two years. Good luck with the project and greetings from the Netherlands :)

For the speakers you should get JL Audio. They are way better than wet sounds

Mity vac makes a good hand pump you guys need to buy. Good for that oil change Emptying transmissions, different, etc. Hopefully you do a video of it on the lake.

Found your channel and subscribed. Been looking into buying a boat to restore, so watching videos. That's a nice Monterey that you found. One of the best parts are that Monterey is still in business so parts should still be available. Some other videos I've watched, the manufacturer is no longer in business. That doesn't always mean anything though. Keep up the good work! Look forward to you putting it on the water and seeing it run👍

Even running for a few seconds with no water will trash your impeller in the lower unit.

I got a 2003 Bayliner with 3.0 mercury mercruser engine with 78 hrs for about 3k with all registration fees included and clean tittle for boat and trailer has a 03 galvanized trailer new tires and new spair boat turns over turns on like your boat but I'm not to familiar with boats either first time owning one seats are sun faded and carpet need redone but that's not a big deal

That's a nice turnabout with a tower however a ski boat is full inboard this is io so you can't really call it a ski boat usually a ski boat also has its engine in the middle not the back look at images of like the skinautique or something ths prop is stationary and under the boat with a rudder behind to steer and the engine sits in the middle
