Restoring an old Soviet (USSR) alarm clock/watch

This week's restoration project was an old clock. The clock has some rust on it and I was to sand everything flat and replated the parts that have been nickel plated originally plated.
Disassembly was very difficult because the parts are very small, some bolts were 1 mm in size
First, I took the clock apart and began to process it, remove rust and dirt. Also dipped parts in acid to dissolve rust.
When everything was processed, he began to collect watches. After the assembly, the clock worked completely. It took 2 days to restore the watch

And you fixed the escapement and balance wheel how exactly? Did it even have an escapement or did you buy another one and get a clockmaker to put it in for you?! Yeah thought so!

You are right that when opening the clock back plate at 0:39, the movement has not balance installed at all, but then it 9:05 magically appears. 😉

@@dgr9624 Hard to see, but by the free spinning it seems You are correct. BTW, does this Slava use a Pallet Fork or a Pin Lever mechanism for an Anchor? The mechanism looks like reasonable good quality in both design and workmanship: detached bridges, the Balance on its own bridge, 11 Jewels and all. 👍

@@Ba_Yegu Slava has always used pallets on an anchor fork. A pin anchor from Soviet alarm clocks was used by the brands: Yantar, Vityaz (they were exported under the name "Corsar") and Sevani
