Yes. I have already decided which one of my children will get it when I'm gone and told her to make sure that no one else grabs it!

@@oldmaninthewoods52 maybe even you could cleanand polish it with soaking in vinegar for 10 or so hours, then coating with baking soda, removing all the rust, then polish and then you got a squeaky clean and shiny antique knife

You need to do something with the leather stacked handle, or it will rot and fall apart. Condition it with something- bees wax, mink oil, something.

Lovely video and good day sir. I inherited a very similar knife many years ago and want to clean it up. The handle is identical to this but the blade is a Camillus. Not sure if any one in here could maybe shed some light of that. I can't seem to find a combination of the two online anywhere.

he said.. "I will never use this knife" since it belong to his dad.. if you are not going to use it, why rfix it... you just grinded the WWII whole story off that knife... I would have just left it alone, the scar dings and dents makes that piece of history more valuable.. if you wanted ot refurbish ans do a video, there are a tone of these knives floating on ebay.. guess everybody thinks different these days LOL
