Nice one lads, top videos as usual! Love the Mk2 content. Would have had money on the oil temp issue being MAP sensor related but learnt today that ABS fault can cause it to. PS, you might already know but you mentioned previously about 5th and 6th gear being hard to get; the car automatically locks them out under certain conditions, just as an FYI. I'm sure Ash isn't as grumpy as you make out 😂

Powerflex insert for that enginemount is well worth the money! Pro-longs the life and helps with stiffening everything up a bit…

You can fill the gearbox from inside the engine bay. You can fill it up through the reverse detent on top of the gearbox. I think it was 2 litres out and 2 litres in on my ST225

The bearings take a hammering from potholes and idiots slamming up kerbs which damages the sensor rings etc.

Great work mate. Clutch is meant to be reverse bleed on these. It can damage the slave other wise I believe.

@@EVILGT no it’s with a clutch replacement mate it damages the slave cylinder if not reverse bleed apparently. It will be fine for a while I think.

Rule about changing gearbox oil or diff oil, is to undo filler bolt first! As if you drain oil and then can’t fill it, then you’ve got a problem! 🤔🤔👍

The oil temp is controlled by the ECU and is preset at factory so there is nothing other than the ECU that controls it

Well it stopped working at exactly the same moment the ABS lights came on and it now works fine so something within the algorithm is interfering with that when the ABS is broken 🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏼

Although you can bleed a clutch by pumping the pedal this Infact is the incorrect method the correct method would be to use a vac bleeder or let it gravity bleed by pumping the pedal you risk damaging the slave cylinder just a heads up
