Restoring pool frogs in the UK

Historically, pool frogs were present in Britain, but following loss and damage to their habitats the species sadly went extinct in the UK. We are working with partners to reintroduce pool frogs to their last known home county. This research is helping to secure a future for pool frogs in the UK, while providing vital insight for global amphibian conservation.
