Thats a lovely 924 you have, That shade of blue is really nice. Your videos have been really useful. I've been restoring a 1979 924 for the past 4 years, hope to have it on the road this summer and drive it as my first car.

@@conordooley677 hi Conor, thanks for the comment and support. Always great to hear from a fellow 924 owner. Sounds like you have been doing lots of great work. Have you done any videos on the work you have done? Hope to see you at some carmeets next year all being well 👍🤞

Hi @Whitty924 I thought about putting up some videos of the restoration but the editing side of it has put me off a bit. I'll definitely try make the trip across to the UK next year.

I really enjoyed this episode saving the original seat is brilliant work. The N/A 924 stands out to me as a pure classic and the condition that you have now achieved with yours is very impressive!

@@pittaloaf1 thanks for the comment and support. It has been a journey, sometimes not as I hoped, I have learnt much along the way and as you say I really think the 924 has come of age. To think it's lived in the shadow or all the other porsche models, yet so many great things about the 924 has the porsche DNA all over it. 🚙💨👍

I hope to get my 924 as good condition as yours I have a split on my driver's seat looking at using a patch underneath and hooking it under and underneath then bonding it down as it's only a 4 inch split

@@stevehunt3847 hey Steve, I look forward to hearing about your journey with the 924 more. I did a similar approach on the seat with a patch behind , mainly to stop additional tearing and tidy up the hole so it can have many good years ahead 🤞👍

@@Witty924 hi m8 I did a service on my wur and replaced the auxillary air valve and 5th injector but now the car won't start IV cranked it over many times as thought it may have a air lock in the fuel system so I did the procedure with the mentor plate by holding it down ect ..but still no luck can the fuel be bleed from the fuel meter ..
@Witty9242 ай бұрын
@@stevehunt3847 hey Steve, have you test the 5th injector, did it work on a cold start? Did you take the airbox off and lift the air metering plate? That should send fuel to all injectors to get a start. If that doesn't work you need to check your fuel pump, can you hear the pump when cranking the engine? You definitely have spark too? Just ticking the easy boxes first.
