Restoring Rome as the King of ITALY In Hearts of Iron 4

Hey everyone, in today's video, Restoring Rome as the King of ITALY In Hearts of Iron 4, I restore the Roman Empire as Victor Emmanuel III, aka the monarch of Italy, in Hearts of Iron 4. Also, this gives you a cool name, Regnum Romanum, instead of the usual Imperium Romanum. I do want to clarify that if you want to play along, this requires the By Blood Alone DLC. I decided to do this because it isn't a path that I see many people take and it is quite powerful for forming Rome. For example, without letting the Pope take power, you can seek Papal support and eliminate the possibility of a civil war. This isn't much of a speed run so I do wait until 1939-1940 to start doing large conquests against the Allies and the Axis, but the set up for the first three years is very important for being able to take on both the Allies and the Axis. A little tip for Italy : when you pick the focus Italian high way you should had build infrastructure in nearly all your state since you have a +25% construction speed bonus for 1year

I'm new here, and its an awesome video. I think there is a lot of stuff that you can cut so the content will have less waiting for seeing what each focus does and it will be straight to the point.

Wow we watched this at the same time. One thing I did like is the dull periods of waiting. With KZbinrs like Feedback I find that they speed through everything and never really give you time to digest what is being said or shown.

Thank you both for the feedback. I can try to find a middle ground between these differing views since I do agree that some points are a bit long but sometimes the dull moments are important to show airplane designs and stuff like that.

you shouldve made some strong medium tank divisions, like just having a full army of them isnanely helps even against Germany or Soviets

Yeah I usually make tank divisions when I play Germany or the Soviets but I was too confident in my ability to blitz Germany with just my airforce lol

great video, you should really work on your division templates even having some line artillery helps loads and I think against hungary and romania you really should have had a front line instead of a fallback line, pushing with both marshals across the whole front line would have been easier. build max infrastructure in oil provinces too

I used to focus a lot more on division templates but nowadays I just usually focus on air. Although I should have made better division templates since I wasn't going to have easy access to rubber and fuel without building it myself.
