and I'm happy to at last showcase a full world conquest as Italy in Hearts of Iron IV.

Of course I formed the Roman Empire in this run again, but it's not the primary objective.
The main challenge of this speedrun is going to war fast, keeping justification times low
and to never stop the aggression before the world map is fully monochrome.
The original script for this video was over 13000 words long and a lot of little snippets
were edited out in the end. If there's info missing or if you have questions in general,
don't hesitate to ask in the comments. I'll collect the most frequent ones here:

Q: Does this work in v1.14?
Yes, even with the Trials of Allegance DLC. But with ToA active,
you need to account for the slightly different behaviour of the American Monroe Doctrine.
In fact, you get more countries for free since Brazil joins the Allies faction if world
tension is high enough and they're threatened by hostile borders.
Q: Should I try this myself?
No. Well. If you want to, feel free, but I wouldn't advise to follow every single step.
You can replicate most of it if you understand the strategies and mechanics at play and
adapt it to your personal campaign, but even slight deviations from my run will
inevitably create differences.
Q: What nation is next?
Don't know yet. I rarely do. But I aim to do runs with all major nations. I've covered
Germany and Italy a lot - France, Japan, Soviets and the United Kingdom once. Never did a
run with the United States. Maybe that'll change with the new Monroe Doctrine. We'll see!

In newer versions some older strats and exploits just don't work anymore. You can still go back to the version that the run was done in through the Steam betas though.

I think someone discovered a way to do order 66, basically you have to request forces from a puppet, set up a garrison order, delete the puppet's forces (this will send the troops back to the puppet), declare war and request the forces from the puppet again. I recommend watching sejozwak's video for that

16:00 That definitely has to do something with the buggy Impassable states, which for some reason they made us unable to take in the peace deals since BBA, France and UK have states in Sahara and Australia has Central Australia

I saw in a game once a ghost nation, but also visible on the map. To be precice parts of fashist italy survived after the italian civil war. Tho this happend in road to 56. It could be that this can happen with italy in vanilla game too. At least sounds familliar to your problem here zoo.

That's how the game is shipped in Germany. Hitler and some fascist advisors are censored like that by the devs to not get in trouble with German laws and press.

wow this is insane! One question though, maybe I missed it? How do you get the minors all on the peace conference? I haven't done quick Allies rush for a while now but I seem to remember if you cap the major too quickly the minors joined but not yet contributed in any way only gets a truce but not included in the peace conference? That was why my early caps of UK always left Canada the leader of Allies.

There was a fundamental change a couple of versions back that completely removed the war score condition. The only requirement now is that the minor nation needs to be in the faction that capitulates.

It was bound to happen eventually. I always liked it as a speedrunning tool. But whenever an exploit is removed, it forces me to become creative with my methods again and I quite enjoy that.
