Members of the Aboriginal community on the NSW mid north coast completed a bush regeneration project to restore the health of a significant cultural site for the Dunghutti people at South West Rocks.
The project provided valuable skills training and employment opportunities for the people in the local Aboriginal community.
Funding was through the NSW Government’s marine estate management strategy.
Visit the NSW Marine Estate website (www.marine.nsw...) for more information about how the Strategy is protecting the Aboriginal cultural values of the marine estate.
