They had one on the ceiling of the Museum of Natural History in NYC. I remember it still worked when I was a child but it’s been off for decades and they don’t even point it out any longer. I wish they would fix it.

Christie's listed I think that orrery, as expected to fetch £80-120k in 2007. Seems like a bargain to me.

The only thing we don't see in this lovely video is a good long look at the the thing bloody well working. So, at the end I am left waiting for what I am not gpong to get.
