The Evo 3 has always been my favorite all time top car. To me nothing beats that Scotia White on that CE9A. It's great to actually see a video of someone walking around talking about it and being excited about it. Most people only care for the 5 or the 7 so it's nice it's getting some love.

I think if you lightly hit 1500 wet dry sandpaper when primed you can get that orange peel feel out but other than that i say black looks great..

You can put the steering wheel bolts in vinegar, let them sit over night and in the morning you got rust free almost shiny new bolts (if the new steering wheel doesnt come with new bolts that is..) its a good inexpensive trick to remove rust oxidation

Just make sure when they go to paint, have em remove that headliner and remove the adhesive holding the bracings... they tend to rotten out the roof badly.

Capt Two6 Id also use matte black on all the black spots. Will match the white better, hide the DIY look and make the white pop more. Autobacs sells a great matte.

Pro Detailer here, shame you're not in Australia, Id have done it for ya! The paint on Mitsubishi's of this era is notoriously shit, oxidizes really fast but is fairly easily fixed if yu catch it before it gets too far gone What youve done is OK for now but it wont last long, it really needs a full cut back and Paint correction. If you're going to paint the car then its fine for now, but after its painted i highly recommend you get it Ceramic Coated by someone who know what the fuck they are doing
