Sir kindly clarify my this confusion : According to you ,if we use "The" with noun ,we must use defining clause ,but here is the case : "The Eiffel Tower, which is located in Paris, France, is an iconic landmark." In this sentence, the non-defining clause "which is located in Paris, France" provides additional information about the specific noun "The Eiffel Tower." Even though it non defining clause , "the" is used to indicate a particular tower being referred to. So, is it grammatically correct to use "the" with the noun not being modified ?

It is simple do not get confused dear! Whenever we use the "definite article" we usually define the word that it emphasizes it. For example The pen, which I borrowed from my friend, is not working. Notice that here which I borrowed from my friend is providing extra information and hence requires commas. But when we say The Karachi is beautiful city. It is completely fine and correct grammatically because everyone knows Karachi is a well-known city. Whenever you emphasize the definite article with a well-known thing it does not require extra information necessarily although one can provide for clarification. In your sentence The Eiffel tower, which is located in Paris, France, is a beautiful landscape. Here which is located in Paris is providing extra information which makes it a non-restrictive clause. Even though it has a definite article "the", but because the is emphasizing the word Eiffel which is known to everyone.
