If you move the sanding ruler with the end in a lower spot you will sand the lower spot, especially when you hold the ruler at both ends, the ruler should be much longer and both ends of the ruler should not be moved outside the sanded surface.

after buying a new bass neck unfortunately it turned out to be defective. I'm going to pull the frets and make fretless bass guitar. I have a question - how to set up the anchor before i start to sandpaper leveling ? 1) loosen the anchor 2) tighten the anchor 3) adjust the neck as straight as possible? Thaks!!

Hope you can help me. I was just about ready to install frets on my homemade Archtop when I noticed the fingerboard I made is not level. It was radiused and I thought I leveled it but now I see not very good. There's a bow in the middle. It touches only at the neck extension end and at the nut end. How can I approach this. I have a carpenters leveler which I can put sandpaper on, and I have an 8 inch radius block from Stewmac. I see those metal leveling beams at Stewmac but damn they're expensive. I'm so frustrated. Any suggestions ?

Muito bom video. Mais tive a sensação de que lixando a escala com a régua plana provavelmente vai desfazer o raio que tinha sido feito na escala. Não seria melhor usar um taco com o raio da escala para aplainar?
