In this Physics video in Hindi for class 11 we derived the formula for the magnitude and the direction of the resultant vector of two vectors having a certain angle between them by graphical method. For example A and B are two vectors having angle θ between them. As we derived the equation for the magnitude of the resultant vector, we can say, the magnitude of the resultant vector is √(A² + B² + 2 A B cos²θ) and the formula for the direction of the resultant vector with respect to vector A i.e. the angle made by the resultant vector with vector A) is inverse tangent of [B sinθ / (A + B cos θ)].
Resultant vector of two vectors is the net vector produced by those two vectors which can be found using vector addition.
