"steel" pistons ? I know Ducati has run 116 mm steel pistons on race bike with 18K red line. (60-90 mile races)

The title is misleading. Injector failure is VERY rare considering the number of injectors in service around the world.

@@heltonthreeotwo Having serviced an injector or two in my lifetime, I can tell you that what he is explaining is what happens when you do not give fuel to a cylinder. Has nothing to do with injector failure and everything to do with a rookie move.
