I know there are many great engine builders sharing their knowledge on the internet, but you've seriously taken this to a new level! It should never be taken lightly, that someone with your experience, and your knowledge, is willing to share it with us. This shows the character, and the class you have. Thank you, and I'll be watching it all.

Man still using the tried and true machines in the shop. I would have figured you turned everything to CNC and lasers and all that new technologies. Still leaves the talent of the machinists in there hands to complete the job properly. It’s a dying breed.

Steve why do engines still have Valvesprings when they aren’t necessary and create more cam wear and chance of valve floatation? Why not use double rockers to lift and close the valves like Ducati engines?
@scaffoldawg4 жыл бұрын
@@bigboreracing356 Actually Konesigg or however you spell it is already using free valve on supercar engines not just motorcycles

Can you tell us how you defy physics when you make 1500+ H.P. on pump gas? I'm sure there are lots of us engine builders that also own dynos and can't make anywhere near that power and have it live. We have blown head gaskets, broken crankshafts and just about everything else on billet LS engine blocks. That is on race gas. You are our hero since you can keep together on pump gas and have it live. Although I did change the correction factor on the dyno and made a 800 h.p. 632 show 6300 h.p. oh yeah and that was on pump gas 91

I want to see a video on the recommended piston ring gap alignment. like where do you put the gaps in relation to intake, exhaust valves, plug, etc? does that recommendation change if you use a dome or dish piston? also whats a good compression ratio for 91/93 octane street motor? autocross motor? and so forth. - keep on rockin!!! - Tim
