I’ve used it a few times and it’s never let me down, if you magnetize you can encase the magnet in the bluetac and give it a good coat and that bad boy is anchored in forever

This is so cool and I eventually want to do something like this. When I was 10 went into a GW shop thinking it was a video game store. Me and my dad was so wrong but I remember so well being giving a model to base and also seeing the dark vengeance set being displayed and being mesmerised by the dark angels but especially Balthasar. I got that set for Christmas but because the game was pretty complex and the painting was tedious for a 10 year old I forgot about 40k for like 9 years. And I discovered they killed off Balthasar and I was genuinely super sad that we wouldn’t be getting a primaris version of him. Now I’m 22 and I really need to hurry up and maybe a primaris kit bash because I attribute him with getting me into 40k

I actually love story’s like this about how you got in the Warhammer and going with your dad, thank you for sharing such a lovely memory with me, as a dark angels loyalist they’ve got some great characters but Balthasar was so cool. While I wish he was still around I’m glad in away that he’s not as it give the DA an amazing legacy to look back on and really elevates their lore because of how cool history is. Might have to do Corswain next!

Nice work...I like to design my darkangels myself. Just finished convering the normal monopose Sternguard in to a Dark angels Captain, Lieutenant and a Hellblaster and intercessor Sergeant. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd line of command should pop out a be simbols of glory and might.

@@mathiasschulze6148 pretty much everyone of my dark angels (bar about 3-4 hq’s) are all kitbashed - I put them on the shelf the other day and it’s just a sea of banners and iconography, so happy with how they look! I’d love to see some pictures of yours - send me some if on Instagram!

i would love to see some of the older characters come back, but i also feel with the love so many have for characters like Balthasar it makes the history of the legion that bit more special and interesting.

So THAT'S what that guy is called! I shortened his ears and carved off the dark angels insignia to make him a Howling Griffon.

Nice but taking that artwork you used As inspiration into consideration Should have given him either a bolt pistol or a plasma pistol if able to Just run him as a marine that can use those

I don’t play, only paint so I’m never to bothered if a mini is legal etc, having said that he has a holstered pistol on the side.
