Hi Mr, 🙋‍♂ I have the ford ka mk2 1.2 litre 2013, and i dont have non of this on mine, the gears are controled with cablles so i feel quite clad to be honest that it,s like that. I dont have this hassol of fluid leeking all over the place. But i do have in issue with the bearings on the gear box as they are makeing a terrable sound when driving 🤦‍♂So thats my next job. Get some plumbers grease to use on the new seals to aid assembly, don't use petroleum grease on the seals as it can mess them up, rebuilt my Karcher pressure washer last year, it was 15 years old when it gave up, now like new again.

Really really interesting video, probably the most interesting one I've seen. I've avoided these dualogics before due to this issue. I've now had three and have another one now (so far so good) but I've always feared this happening. Seeing you do this has made me not so nervous to have a go although it looks a bit daunting but look forward to seeing what comes in the kit and how easy it is to put it all back together. When you were under the car before you dropped the engine, what were you doing as we only occasionally saw your gloves. Are there bolts underneath too? If seemed from the top that it was only 4 bolts, but I'm sure there were more that we couldn't see? Did you just support the engine as you lowered it, or did you support he gearbox too, as you only had the one jack? Thanks for recording this Mark, really, really useful.

the solenoid needs the right hydraulic oil pressure so just replace the hydrolic oil with the right type and it will be fine

The duologic gearbox is so weak worst would bea twin air with that gearbox , 1.2 manual best . Best of luck fixing it yourself , would fiat mai dealer have the kit as fiat main dealers arnt expensive
