@@Neonaccelerator I mean I don't think he's low tier. hes around the bottom of mid . maybe middle range if you are generous. SkyJay is actually just insane. Any other incin wouldn't have come close to this. If he played a better character I think SkyJay could be top 5 along with bassmage. two guys who still show out at majors and play nearly flawless games with their respective mid tiers.

Naw 99% sure it wasn't a misinput. To me it looked like he didn't anticipate Skyjay dropping shield and didn't react. He jumps and back airs after this, which makes me think Chag thought he would miss and baired for pressure. Chag just got outplayed :3

@@lizard0750 i doubt it . Top players are always ready to convert . Why else would he land on him with a nair at like 150? If tweek goes for a d tilt with diddy kong at 130 percent and the opponent is shielding and happens to drop shield he is always ready to land the confirm . Thats part of being a top player. consistently hitting your confirms and being ready for that cue whether you land on them with palu nair or land a d tilt with diddy and so on. There is no real way of telling for sure unless chag mentioned it. You may be right but i dont think so.

so many times Chag could’ve properly edge-guarded but instead he chose to use the neutral and side special instead of going out there and pressuring with any aerial so tragic but Skyjay deserved to win with how many times he got back to stage for free

Agreed, when it comes to characters like Incineroar it really all comes down to knowing the matchup well. Incineroar has many many weaknesses and generally only wants 2 or 3 things. If you know what they are then you should be able to beat Incineroar. SkyJay is indeed amazing with what he does but I feel like Chag could've played a little better and yes, abusing Incineroar offstage is also a way to go about the machup.

The commentators pointe something out that i noticed recently. I remember seeing skyjay play incin at some tourney a long time ago and thinking damn he could be good but the recovery sucks, and he was struggling with it. Now his recoveries are fucking mint, makes incin look so smooth.
