I just found your videos. Really like them! I have been selling FBA for a year. I have not done FBM because I tried a few times and they never got sold so I end up sending inventory in as FBA. I keep thinking it's because FBM does not get the BuyBox. However, your video and what you said makes lots of sense. I will try FBM a lot more! Thanks!

Are you using Seller Amp, keep or nepeto? Nobody should do any retail or online Arbitrage without software. Using software is what protects you from losing money

If your merchant fullfilling I would check items that were selling and come and buy them when they sold. To test items before spending lots of cash.

Do you charge shipping on your fbm?

No I don't. I offer free shipping and just raise my price to cover the shipping price. This can be more of an art than a science depending on where you're located. For example, I am on the east coast so when I offer free shipping I have to be aware that Amazon will give me "my share" of orders going all the way as far as California and I will sometimes lose money on those or break even if my price is competitive. Thanks!

Just through experience. I take a product and based on the weight I will create a shipment using a California address just to see the absolute most it will cost me and go from there.

I use a software called Shipping Easy and it works really well but I do need to do a comparison video. That's gonna force me to see how much I'm really saving. Plus I do believe if you buy postage though Amazon you get more support on claims but I'm not 100% sure.
