If you're trying to make the maximum amount of money possible with an SMMA/Marketing Agency, should you charge a revenue share or a retainer? In what situations should you charge a revenue share or a retainer? How high of a retainer or a revenue share? Does it depend on what the service you're selling is? As a beginner, there are a category of clients that will attempt to take advantage of you - you must be able to snuff these out, and recognize when you have a good or bad deal on your hands.

Thank you so much man, Recently I was presented with a similar deal too. All these local businesses complaint about how they have been burnt by agencies but guess what I have had clients not pay me too. Even tho it was written in contract and all that.

The worst part is, even if you're REALLY good at your service, and actually deliver perfectly, its still in the hands of the company to actually close & successfully fulfill. And most of the time, the types of people who gives these offers don't really have a good sales system in place, so you're really just shooting yourself in the foot.

Bro the timing on this is literally perfect. I have a lot of fkn people who do not want to pay ANYTHING upfront because they got burned. One literally told me on the call after I pitched the setup fee "or I pay nothing and you get a share of the deals we close" like nah mf how are you not paying for inboxes and domains but at the same time make 150k/month with your agency.
