I have a 2017 Frontier SV. I am installing a Atoto A6 9" which has the option to map the buttons. I can't seem to get the steering wheel controls to work with the ASWC-1 even after switching through all the Radio brands. Some say no module is needed for this truck. Is this true? I quickly wired it without the module (grounding pin 15, connecting pin 6 and 16 to the 2 SWC wires on the Atoto harness) and it didn't work. Any advice?

Why don't you guys do a show on a 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid backup camera tapping into the multi-function display hooking up to an Android radio?

Because android radios are trash, and they don't install them because of that.
