The shaft was built around 2001 and from that time, they installed hydraulic OTIS. It used to break down every 3-4 months which led that there was no point of using this lift, therefore it was out of order for around 2011-2012. From 2013, they installed a new cctv inside and from that time, the lift works perfectly.
This lift is special for me as it was the first lift I got stuck on when I was like 11 years old.
