This is a fantastic little radio. I got it when they first came out. Not a “long-range “ radio, but it does quite well. I can pick up a few of the bigger distant stations, and a number of the Fringe ( semi- local, lower power) stations on AM ( MW). FM is equally impressive, as is the Weather Band. Well made little radio. They really put some thought into it. The nearest competitor is the Kaito KA-210, which is also a well liked radio ( AM/FM/Weather, Pocket radio.) And a good radio. The Retekess definitely does a far better job on reception. (The advantage of the Kaito is that it uses 2 “AA” batteries, so batteries last longer. On the minus side, these DSP ( Digital Signal Processor ) Radios do “mute” between stations, and can be a bit of a pain to tune - that said, with DSP it will lock on to the signal and won’t drift ( however sometimes as longer distance signals waver, it can loose the lock, and you may hear it trying to regain the lock). This is well worth the price. ( I am a collector, AM DXer, and Short Wave listener. ) Well done review. 📻🙂

I’m in Jacksonville Florida, and it still amazes me how many people don’t even have the most basic of radios. EVERY HOUSEHOLD SHOULD HAVE A RADIO ‼️ At least one for emergencies‼️ 📻🙂
