Did you use Windows 10 or 11? Cannot find Windows 11 cable. Most cable ads say that it will not work with Windows 11.

I set mode 2, so that I could listen to the 162.45 FM weather station. But Chirp won't let me set it. (Copying repeater Freq data over from a HT file). Can I turn off the Chirp police mode?

Once you set mode 2, read the config from the radio in CHIRP, then start programming. I had that issue with a read config from when mine was set into Mode 1, but after I changed the mode and re-read the config from the radio it then released the restriction.
