Today I'm retightening my final section of hair after a LONG retightening process. It took me longer than normal because I tightened up my grid and did some loc repairs. I hope you enjoy!

@@the4ceer806 Your channel is very different from the rest thats for sure and is what I consider the lock bible! I am sister-locked 4 yrs but I am a rebel! I do my own thing. I conditioned my hair from day 1, almost lost them locks from "do not wash for 6 weeks!" crap. I have bad scalp problems so from then on, I figured forget their stupid rules. Cant wait to see your lock journey! I love you treat them like loose natural!

I retightened my own hair and it took me 12 hours/4 days because it was my first time. I can't imagine how much time it would take me if I had the amount of locks you have. You did a great job!

Your locs are absolutely gorgeous! I maintain my own as well for the same reasons you mentioned. I do have a fair amount of knowledge in haircare (I attended cosmetology school) so I don't trust anyone other than my mom or siblings touching my hair but I still do it myself lol.

💕💕💕Of course! I'll show it in the next video, but I put my phone behind me on a tripod and turn on the camera, then I have a mirror in the front. The tripod makes it so easy to adjust for views.

Happy it was fun to watch! I usually have a two mirror setup, but I've found My phone is a great way to see the full views. I put it on a tripod with a mirror in front and it's so much easier to adjust. I'll do a video the next time I rerighten. Thank you lovely!!

Does the 2 point rotation give you a twist like look to your locs? Just started my microlocs journey, haven't done a retightening as yet. But I want to be certain of the point rotation I'm gonna use.

Hey Juley! Happy you're in the community! 2 point makes my locs looser. It doesn't really a noticeable pattern, but I like it because it keeps locs stretchy and not so firm. If your looking for firm locs, I'd go with the 3 or 4 point rotation. Wishing you an amazing hair journey ✨️
