Thank you so much for this video. My husband, who is 59yrs old, developed CRAO during his Scleral buckle surgery. He had none of the risk factors you mentioned, he is very healthy. Do you think it was the surgeon's technique? And if so, what do you think he did that contributed to the CRAO. The surgery was done with General Anesthesia. I appreciate your professional opinion.

Due to scleral buckling in case of retinal detachment , there is a pressure over the retinal artery leads to obstruction at lamina cribrosa(with increased iop)
