Can this be used without a phoropter and using only trial lenses?

I use a Snellen and my own Trial Lenses. Far more accurate that a Phoropter. I now read 20/20, on my Home Snellen. My refractive state, is +0.5 diopters. This is not a "refractive error". This is simply the nornal eye.

how do you account for accommodation? I don't mean in general, I mean specifically Otie the self-prescriber

Can you tell me exactly how do you use this for practice with only trial lenses? I’m before buying but that would be crucial to know
