@@vijayakumarsivam3688 so what even if he had played in 96 or 1985. Chanderpaul never played the scoop shot in international cricket before Marillier. It was Marillier who first played these shots at international level & Chanderpaul started playing these shot only a few yrs after Marillier. It was Marillier who started & perfected this shot at the international level. Before Marillier, no one had the guts to play the shots at the top level as they would get severe backlash if they get out cheaply & needlessly playing this shot unless the shot has been perfected by the batsman. It's like the helicopter shot where it was Azharuddin who 1st played the helicopter shot against Lance Klusener way back around 1997 but idiot Dhobi fanboys keep giving credit to Dhobi as inventor of the shot which is absolutely factually WRONG.
@Meg97-e3u4 жыл бұрын
@@vijayakumarsivam3688 seems like you don't know much about cricket. Chanderpaul used to play only textbook cricketing shots but when he played Odi critics began to criticize him as selfish player and slow scorer in Odi because he didn't have too many shots required to up his SR in Odi. Therefore he started adding shots like slog sweep, scoop, Reverse sweep, Switch hit & ramp shots to his armoury which improved his scoring rate in Odi to some extent. But like I said he was a very limited shot maker before he added these innovative shots & only started playing them especially the ramp shot & scoop shots behind the keeper only after Marillier played them in international cricket.

This match and also last two ball ten runs against sri lanka off chamimda vaas in 2008 was one of the reasons why chanderpaul was the most underrated batsmen ever ❤️❤️he completed the run chase for his team in these two matches in final overs when the reverse swing was at its peak and against the tough bowlers, how easy he handles himself in those suitations and hit the boundaries when it was much needed

Chanderpaul, is the best technique batsman for me and very clever batsman. He is very smooth then any other batsman in the world. I hope his son follow his foot 🦶 step or better than him. He is a person who knows where he wants to play the Ball. He knows how to up the game and when to clam the game. He is one of the biggest Master class Batter. In six word: very conscious batter than the rest.
