The best Fnatic era was their Evil Empire Days after the olofboost thing where they leaned into being the bad guys. He was a part of that "evilness" with his sketchy play.

Still my favourite era in csgo. Better and more entertaining games back then, eventhough todays skill ceiling is very entertaining.

One of the most unique and entertaining players in the history of csgo imo. Never flashy, but always a showman, if you get what I mean. With the knifes and sneaky plays, etc

There was a game of his on train, maybe it was the series against faze, where he went ape shit and completely wrecked the opposing teams tournament. His play in that game always stands out in my mind

I think the most obvious Flusha triggerbot clip is the one in Cache against Team EnVyUs in Dreamhack 2015. Look it up, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I loved the old fnatic roster. Krimz and flusha were my two favourites, I absolutely love the consistency krimz has brought over the years the dude just plays his turret roles and stays with in tier 2 when his old fnatic teammates and goats like forest and neo cannot even get into tier 3 teams. But man flusha was just always so entertaining to watch, you could just see his brain whirring when it was chaotic mid round, he always seemed to have the read. The train game other people already mentioned will always be a csgo match I will never forget.

@dainluke
@dainluke Жыл бұрын
Yeah flusha was probably cheating. During that period many players were getting banned, and that famous list was leaked that everyone seemed to denounce as a hoax. I think many of those Dan M clips have credence, particularly with regards to those between 2013 and 2015. Before contracts became mega, the incentive to cheat was very high. Once players started earning mad money, the risk of losing your contract and potentially being sued by the org (I'm guessing there were clauses added), outweighed the benefits.
@Mykulveli
@Mykulveli Жыл бұрын
There was a lot of people doing the same aimlock like you said. I have absolutely no clue why everyone brings up money or "too much being on the line". The only reason cheating either stopped or changed is people noticing and talking about it. There's absolutely no logic in prizes changing how likely someone cheated is.
@dainluke
@dainluke Жыл бұрын
@@Mykulveli If you're getting paid $10000-20000 p.m. just to show up to practice vs $500-1500 which was the standard in like 2013-2014, it's definitely a major difference. Especially if the org included clauses, which they almost certainly did. Point-in-case, there's 0 cheating in CDL Call of Duty, but in random amateur scenes across the globe, at least 20-30% of amateur players are cheating. It's even more prevalent in Warzone, especially amongst unsigned casual semi-pro gamers. Reason being that those amateur players and Warzone players have absolutely nothing to lose. There's effectively no consequence, even if you win prize money. The same used to go for pro CS.
@Evan2768
@Evan2768 Жыл бұрын
@@dainluke you’re right, except that “pro” warzone players also cheat. That game is infested all the way to the top. Look at Biffle, Zlaner, Aydan, too many to count.
@dainluke
@dainluke Жыл бұрын
@@Evan2768 I mean it really depends how you want to define a pro. I don't really know what pro means in reference to WZ because they don't ever seem to monitor anyone or follow up on allegations. Regardless, with the current pro CDL and CS leagues, there is 0 cheating. This obviously doesn't exclude amateur, semi-pro and low-level pro play.

I’ve played and watched a LOT of FPS games. Gun to my head, I say Flusha cheated in multiple LAN tourneys. It rubs me the wrong way to see his career celebrated. Think of all the GOATed players that don’t have 10% of Flusha’s sus clips…

If he was cheating he would not have been able to hold such a good level for so long. It's normal for players to have a peak year just look at Olof.
@jonasba2764
@jonasba2764 Жыл бұрын
That's a bad argument, a very good player can still use cheats because he wants to be even better. There's no way to conclude flusha did or did not cheat.
@sirdetmist3204
@sirdetmist3204 Жыл бұрын
@jonasba2764 I highly doubt if he had been cheating he would have been able to function to the same degree without them. By nature you conclude he didn't cheat because you have to prove he did. It's called presumption of innocence and burden of proof.
@jonasba2764
@jonasba2764 Жыл бұрын
@@sirdetmist3204 Like thorin mentioned and a lot of older players have said as well, some cheats like wall hack can actually help develop your gamesense, so that's not really an argument. I'm also not concluding that he cheated, but there's a difference between presuming innocence and definitively concluding innocense.

Flusha may not be in the discussion for the best player of all time but I would definitely say he has had some of the best plays of all time. The one that comes to mind is the 2018 Katowice grand final vs Faze where in the 25th round he gets an ace that I would regard as being one of the best demonstrations of game sense.
