Normally pianist fingers no matter what age they are their fingers ability in playing the piano nothing much different especially when they always playing piano. The only problem is with their shoulder and backbone.

@@rebellady04 Let me let you in on a little secret ... I'm old too. I'm 75 and I'm not offended by being called an old person.... I know I'm older than dirt and I'm l'm glad. Every day i hear people dying at 19, 30, 45, 68 but at 75, I'm still here! And I'm observing all the old people that are 100, 102, 14. They are my inspiration and none of them ran marathons, jogged, used exercise equipment or belonged to a health club. They just led a healthy life style. I drink a beer once in a while, no wine, I don't like anything dry. No cocaine, and no smoking or tobacco chewing. The only weed I had was dry basil leaves and the only white powder I used was Powdered sugar but I love eating my vegetable salads, well cooked steaks and chocolate cake. I guess I'm okay, I'm still here. I'm praying for the ones that are dropping. They need our prayers because they have already met their Creator. And I'm still working on my salvation. Merry Christmas. I'll have some egg nog.

In Russia, piano accompanists to singers, violinists, other instrumental musicians are called "Концертмейстер". Since she was working at Bolshoi, she must've accompanied either singers or ballet during practice. In English, it's the leader of the first violin section in the orchestra or other lead instrumental player in the orchestra: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concertmaster Just FYI, also for others who might misunderstand you.

In English, the word concert master doesn't even refer to pianists at all, but a chair violinist in the orchestra. I can speak Russian, and I know what the word means in Russian. Basically, the Russian word is "концертмейстер" which sounds like a German origin word which would literally be translated "concert master" except in Russian it is used for classical accompanists - classical singers, other instrumental musicians, or ballet. For example, if you go to a Russian website for some famous Russian ballet academies and look at their stuff, they refer to their ballet accompanists (all excellent btw, you can watch some of the Vaganova exam videos here to get the idea of the level) as "концертмейстер". Opera singers' accompanists are also called "концертмейстер". Since she worked in Bolshoi, she could've accompanied to their ballet or singers. Or both. This wouldn't preclude a separate concert solo career, in fact, there is a video here of her performing on stage. There is also one ballet, Marguerite and Armand which is performed entirely to Chopin's music played by a pianist on stage.
