Stanford, one of the earliest, perhaps the first, Black F-86 fighter pilot, during the UN Action, the Korean War. I literally cried when President Biden hung that medal around Col. Davis' neck. As a former Marine, it was one of those rare moments that I can say I felt proud to be an American. And despite those who continue to sell the lie that black Americans don't love this country, THIS IS PROOF THAT THEY ARE WRONG. WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY, BUT IT'S VERY RARE THAT OUR COUNTRY LOVES US BACK. Now he gets a Medal of Honor in lieu of the fact that his Unit comrades are DEAD and they can't testify as to whether he deserves it or not?
