So card of demise is a real card, but its effects are extremely nerfed. For starters, it's a hard once per turn. Irl, you draw until you have 3 cards instead of 5. Also, any cards in your hand when you end your turn are discarded (regardless of if they were drawn by card of demise or not). It's also limited to 1 copy per deck.

Plus, it makes your opponent take no damage for the rest of the turn.
