After 27 years working for the teamsters union local 455 my husband pension is only 675.00 a month. this seems very small

sounds about right lol. I think my company the pension if you max your 30 years is like 900+, it aint much. it's not enough to do anything with other than just have an extra source of income in retirement.

How do you calculate your benefies having 17 years worked for one company with teamster union and stop, and 17 years later you claim your benifics at the age of 57 years .

My Teamster Local slow walked my Pension Application for months. I resubmitted documents several times as requested. Since this time delay went months past my first $ Payment date- I was told I would lose those 4 payment months. I find this outrageous. When the payments began to arrive it was confirmed- those 4 months were never paid out nor would they be in the future. Those 4 months is a nice $ chunk of change. I am so pissed. Any thoughts ? Thank you.
