Also im Endeffekt merkt man vielleicht, dass es echt keinen so riesigen Unterschied geben kann. Do they though? First of all this is general marketing. It says nothing about you the viewer and they cant even measure what good came from this shor ad. They have no metrics for that. Second it, differently from direct response advertising, it as no call to action. It doesnt invite you to try or see the car. So this is money burned for nothing. If they could have KPI for this, they would fire the marketing guy within 24 hours. Google David Olgivy and you will see what real marketing is!

Sushanth Ramesh 100%, at this point in time these names mean so much, when you drive any of these cars, you are driving a piece of automotive history. A BMW or Mercedes from the 1980s is on another planet compared to a Toyota or Honda or Ford from that same time period. Think of the first generation 8 series for example, a 90s car, but to this day not many manufacturers have really topped it, not even BMW themselves. Just imagine riding in an 8 series or S Class in the 80s, must’ve been an unbelievable experience at the time. People forget, these German manufacturers truly set a standard for automobiles. Even the Japanese took notes from them.
