I rode my bike three times and shipped it back to the Summer place on the mainland. I can't believe you recommended biking as an activity on the Big Island.

I ride my bike on Alii Drive all the time!

@@365HawaiiRealEstateInfo Good for you. I'd feel pretty safe on Alii Drive as well. The further the way from the heavily regulated and patrolled Alii Drive, the greater the risk factor. Out here in Captain Cook, the roads are narrow and just a bit of resentment against the slower bicycle traffic.

@@unclegeorge7845 Yes, down in South Kona the roads are narrow. Although I got a VERY fun ride in from the National Park, up to Keei Road and then down to Kealakekua Bay and back to the park.

Well, there is snorkeling, hiking, swimming, sitting on the beach, surfing, SUP, etc...so you have to enjoy being outdoors and being active!

HI Salvatore! Both are pretty expensive islands, but Maui may have better access to health care than Hawaii Island.
